The first Rotary Club was founded by six men more than a century ago to provide service to its local community. Since then it has grown to encompass more than 1.2 million members in nearly every nation on earth. The more than 33,000 clubs provide educational opportunities and fight homelessness, hunger and disease in their local communities and globally through the Paul Harris Foundation.
